Champagnac La Riviere is situated approximately 35 km. south west of Limoges. By car it can be reached from the A20 motorway travelling south exiting at Limoges. Then following directions for Aix Sur Vienne and Perigueux on the N21.

One of the oldest and largest street markets in France is at Piegut-Pluviers every Wednesday.
